Student Artist, Blog-Only Bonus

I was clearing out some old worksheets that I either have stored somewhere electronically or that I know that I'll just never use again, given all the material that I have available to me, stored electronically, when I found the following that I picked up off a student's desk years ago. If I ever knew who the student was (and I probably did at the time), I've forgotten. He (possibly, but not likely, "she") didn't sign the work, nor put their name at the top of the sheet of loose leaf, as they have a tendency to do.

This is a bonus, not a Guest Artist, and isn't numbered along with my other (x, why?) strips.

I hope it's not a commentary on the situation in my classroom. More a commentary on social life: keep your head down and you won't get hurt. Or something.

Blog Bonus: Beverage of Choice

Just a passing thought after my first visit to a Sonic restaurant:

Obviously, a liquor license at a drive-in restaurant is probably not A Good Thing... except maybe for the date you took there.

The Sonic logo is a registered trademark of SONIC Corp.

Bonus Blog-Only Comic: Square Root of the Answer

This is one of those things that I see, and then can't unsee, and sometimes that bothers me ... and sometimes it bothers me that it bothers me.

The square root of the answer.

Fair = Foul Follow-up (A Bonus Comic)

Here's the original idea that spawned Friday's comic. Friday's comic was created first, but this was what was going through my head on Thursday....

So I Had a Moment Like This Today

So I had a moment like this today . . . Someone decided to have a snack, spilled some on the floor, didn't do anything about it, and I don't know anything until I'm walking through it . . . and all I can think (and I'll only publicly admit to "thinking" it) can be summed up in one sentence:

There wasn't really any more to say after that.

Then and Now

It occurs to me, that they aren't too different:

Supermarionation -- Super Mario Nation?
I'd like to drive Thunderbird 2 in Mario Kart. Or maybe the Mole.

Coffee for a Saturday Morning

I've been a little under the weather this week, so fewer updates (sorry).
So here's a bonus comic. The link was posted by Anonymous on the thread back in September when that thread seemed to get a popularity boost.

I've chosen to be sincerely flattered by the imitation, particularly because all my marks are still included. It makes for a good explanation of the first comic were it introduced in a math class.
