(x, why?) Mini: Perp Walk

It seems the most natural thing that in a world of Shapes, there would be a trapezoid ruler and keystone cops.

Yeah, I'll probably get them a new street to patrol somewhere down the line.

(x, why?) Mini: Prime Suspect

It looks like six is afraid of seven for some reason...

The problem I had with this joke was that "Prime Suspect" says "COPS" to me, but I don't have any ANTHRO-Numeric(tm) cops. My Cops are shapes (keystones, to be exact, and if you don't understand why, Google it) and shapes don't exactly have prime numbers, unless I explicitly add them. So I added them.

(x, why?) Mini: Inscribed

(Click on the comic if you can't see the full image.)

It's a bad dream oval all.

Obligatory Math: Of the regular polygons, only an equilateral triangle and a square can be inscribed inside an ellipse (assuming it isn't also a circle).

There are limits to MS Paint (and it's worse with this ancient monitor I'm currently sitting at), but it's been my intent that the shapes in this particular world that look to be regular are supposed to be regular. That said, I changed the triangle image I usually use because it looked more isosceles to me. Thanks to this PC, I may have to touch up the comic when I get home.

Obviously, the officer is not regular, but he makes a point of stating what I wasn't sure was obvious, and what was important for the comic.

It's also important to realize that despite the usual "regularness", this shape world has Trapezoid Rule.

Perps don't stand a chance.

I haven't done a COPS episode in a while, which I should rectify. If I choose to do more of these, you should note the shape of things to come.

(x, why?) Mini: Trial

I guess there would be a lot of ''bial'' tossed around at a two-sided proceeding.

My newest problem with Shape characters. Sometimes the entier face of the shape is just the face. Sometimes the face is the face and body. As a result, it's slightly unclear -- out of context -- if they are wearing face masks or bikinis.

And if you didn't see that, can you now unsee it?

And I still think this Octagon shape for the cops is the most amusing unstated running gag. (Unstated, except for the hashtag.)
