R.I.P. Gary Gygax

As a part-time geek, I had to note the passing of Gary Gygax, creator of Dungeons & Dragons and founder of an entire industry. I played AD&D back in college and for a couple of years beyond along with other games that I might not have tried otherwise.

My skills as an artist are still limited, so I didn't try to rush an image when I heard the news. But I did want to note his passing. Somewhere out there, my old tenth-level fighter (who probably moved well beyond that without me) is removing his helmet and pausing for a moment.
