Someone Else's Bad, Geeky Math Pun

If it's the former, then you have to take a look at today's Argyle Sweater, which I saw in the Daily News today.

Not only is it based on math, but it has a geeky 80s (good Lord, was it really the 70s???) cultural reference to it as well.

I first pictured this cartoon months ago, but decided not to do it.
And then I heard this song on the radio in the car at least five times in the last couple weeks -- and I'm not usually in the car long enough to hear a lot of music.

It seems to me that "Once begun is half done" and "The last 10% of the job takes 90% of the effort" just don't seem to add up.
