Pi Day 2014: Pi-ku!

(Click on the cartoon to see the full image.)

(C)Copyright 2014, C. Burke.

Is it irrational to like pi? Or to like pi-ku?
FYI: A "pi-ki" is a 3-line poem consisting 3 syllables, 1 syllable and 4 syllables. Kind of like some other kind of poem you might have heard of.

And the winner and only entry in our

Only Annual Pi-ku Contest

Want to meet
pi?
Tourtière, tourtière.
-- Gregory B Taylor

I don't speak the language, so I'll assume that "Tourtière" has two syllables.

UPDATE: One new later entry:

Twenty-two
on
seven is close.

Late entry? I still win, right?? Actually, I had to look up the syllables in "tourtiere", and even then I wasn't 100% sure, but repeating it scanned better than "Deux tourtiere". Oh, and for those who are unaware, it's a "meat pie".

As to those in the comic, I like the 'turning point'. Not sure I get the last one. Contest might have gone better with more time? And I see you also have a QT, hm.

Of course, you are a winner.

But I also intended to print multiple winnners.

The last one is mostly about some third term Geometry students who are surprised by the mention of common, basic Goem'tree terms.

I'm guessing it didn't work.
