Aside from leaving the "r" out of "thirty" in the second frame, I think instead of "Correct.", in the third frame the answer should have started with "I just said that!" Of course, the text box would have to be expanded, and might cause issues.
Yet another reason I don't make web comics myself :-P
And of COURSE the first time I posted this, I had a misspelling in it!

Mr. Burke is a high school math teacher in New York as well as a part-time writer, and a fan of science-fiction/fantasy books and films.
He started making his own math webcomic totally by accident as a way of amusing his students and trying to make them think just a little bit more.
Unless otherwise stated, all math cartoons and other images on this webpage are the creation and property of Mr. Chris Burke and cannot be reused without permission.
Thank you.

And looking again at the comic, somehow I counted the first (wide) frame as two frames...
I tend to avoid commenting on spelling mistakes because of typos myself. I'll fix that one shortly.
And you're right, "I just said that" would've been funnier, playing on the father-son dynamic.
I was worried more about working in the line about a star in the secret square. Flashback to the 70s there.
As a child, I used to watch "Hollywood Squares every day. And yet, until I just read your reply, I totally missed any connection!
That line popped out at me in constructing the comic. It wasn't in the original story.
I didn't know if anyone would pick up on it because I don't think they used it in either of the two nighttime revivals.
