Indiana Jones and the All-Time Top 50

Indiana Jones has an opportunity to pull off an amusing co-incidence in the coming weeks.

If you check out the All-time Box Office gross for the U.S. at the Internet Movie Database, you will see that Twister currently resides at number 50. Iron Man only needs to take in another $14 million or so to knock it out.

After that, we can expect Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull to join one of its predecessors in the Top 50. Except that it can't. When the new movie makes the $242 million it needs to make the list (and you know that it will), it will have the distinction of being the film that knocks Raiders of the Lost Ark off of the list.

Just a little trivia that might be useful when doing my Summer Movie Math in class.
