It just sounds wrong, right?
Students who keep in touch on social media still call me Mr. B, which is fine. But I've seen a couple socially, and they've tried not calling me that, and it doesn't work for them. Even though people younger than them have no problem.
This, of course, carries over to all of my parents' friends. Keep in mind, I'm older than Mike.
On a comic note: Moira (first time mentioning a name) was a student here when she was younger. She became a teaching student of Michele's shortly after the wedding.
