Well, it is a Common mistake. Vocabulary comprehension is usually a Factor.

I make no secret of the fact that I started doing "minis" because simpler comics should be quicker to make. The thought being they were like daily strips compared to the Sunday funnies.

And then I get bright ideas about using characters I already have, instead of making quick one-shots, or just using large fonts. Riiiiiiight.

Of course, that means tracking down the last image of them. And then realizes that they aren't all quite the same scale.

But it's the right size for a bookmark, if I ever get to go to a science-fiction convention again.

As it turns out, of the three of them, 12 was the most recently used, and this is only her second appearance. I haven't used Henry and Tricia in quite a while, and Henry is usually smaller.

That's just for starters, of course.

Whackadooness isn’t a quality limited only to the people I follow. It’s certainly not the barometer by which I decide to follow someone. A little makes one interesting but there are diminishing returns.

And as with most data sets, there are outliers. There are some extremely serious people who would fall below 0.1% who I might follow, even if they are obviously boring. Brillaint, yes, but boring. And there are some who are absolutely certifiable and yet have some redeeming quality which makes them entertaining from time to time. Again, while it may be good, it is possible that there is too much of a good thing.

I could try to correlate the data. I won't, of course. But I could.

As for Michele, she may be thinking, "A fool! A fool! I met a fool in the forest." Or maybe she isn't.

Final thoughts: I don't know how many Os should be in "whackadoo", but I decided to end with the double. Also, I like the "h".

Yes, there were spoilers in the title. I couldn't think of an interesting non-spoilery one.

When introducing the terms, I usually go, I usually go with monocle, bicyle and tripod. Unfortunately, there's no "monocycle".

And now I'm thinking of other ideas for the comic, so I'll stop now. The idea of doing "minis" were that they were supposed to be quick. So that's it for this mono mini!

Central vs. Inscribed. If you get it straight, you'll be all right!

I could do a column, maybe not a comic, on answering all sorts of question Geometry students might encounter with circles that can be explained using the numbers 90, 180, and 360 along with "half" and "double". (I'm using "half" as an adjective as much as a number there.)

Toss in "similar triangles" and "Pythagorean Theorem" and you can explain most of the rules and theorems you need to solve the Algebra-type problems that get tossed around.

Actually, it might be possible to be sparse with words (to hold the readers' attention) and still have enough background where a proof could be formulated.

Maybe when the break in the semesters comes toward the end of the month.
