I don't know if the clues in the comic window plus the first two extra clues are enough to deduce the answer, because after only a few minutes I went with the third extra clue and came up with:
First, Melchior from Arabia gave Gold Second, Balthazar from Saba gave Frankincense. Third, Caspar from Tarsus gave Myrrh.
By the way, everyone knows it's "gold, frankincense, and myrrh", but the actual order isn't given, so that was the only fact that I could play around with.

ReplyDeleteFirst, Melchior from Arabia gave Gold
Second, Balthazar from Saba gave Frankincense.
Third, Caspar from Tarsus gave Myrrh.
"Second, Balthazar from Saba gave Frankincense."
ReplyDeleteBalthazar went after the king who gave Myrrh.
By the way, everyone knows it's "gold, frankincense, and myrrh", but the actual order isn't given, so that was the only fact that I could play around with.
And here I was so proud of myself figuring out the puzzle! I used to be able to do these, I guess I'm out of practice.
ReplyDeleteI better get my game on soon -- January 12, I start my first semester of a Master's degree program in Computer Science
